Motion graphics are a really effective way to make a video more engaging and memorable for your audience. Large and complex graphics can be great, but we more often find that keeping things minimal is the best way to deliver a lot of information in a short amount of time.
Having been inspired by what other animators have been able to do with basic shapes, I spent a few days at Anchor Line experimenting with minimalist animation styles. For fun, I restricted myself to a palette of two colors and a few simple shapes. With no explicit messaging that needed to be included, I let myself run free within the color and simple shape limitations. Adding in a bed of music and sound effects tied the piece together wonderfully.
A final thought: These animation examples might change the way you think about robots.
